This one is for real: Completed over # of projects for faculty and staff (any estimate of how many IT Lab completed?)
- Merged IT Lab and ETL and as a result, expanded information technology resources to support faculty in teaching and research
- What do you think about something like this for a goal: Develop a strategy/model for increasing the flexibility of CARC. Through increased flexibility, the Center will quickly scan and rapidly respond to instructional, research, and workflow needs related to academic computing. (I think we need to give up the idea that we can predict the future. All we can do is give ourselves the capacity to respond and the creation of that capacity is the purpose of a strategy).
- Or what about this for a goal: To develop the wildest, most insane ideas and ensure that we not only succeed in implementing these ideas, but they become the best things that have happened at MUSC in the last 50 years. (50 years was a random number - we can go with any number of years)
- Full system integration with Skynet (assuming the Skynet Funding Bill is passed).
